Little Gems Nursery
Little Gems Nursery opened in September 2006. It provides pre-school provision for up to nine 0-2 year olds. In September 2007, as part of our Children’s Centre provision, we opened a 2-3 year old Nursery as well. This will add to our long standing Fulbridge Gems Nursery provision for 3-4 year olds. In October 2009 we extended the 2-3 Nursery to provide better and larger facilities. This allowed us to admit more children and keep them up to the age of 4.
Little Gems is currently a term time only provision and costs £40 per day. At the end of March 2007 it had its first Ofsted Inspection and it received gradings of ‘good’ under every criteria. As part of the schools 2008 Ofsted Inspection the inspectors commented that the Little Gems Nursery provision was outstanding. These are very pleasing comments in every respect and reflects the hard work and care that the staff have given to this wonderful Nursery provision. Everyone comments how the Nursery has achieved a very ‘homely’ feel from the moment you enter its doors.
